There are no wheels on OWI's Magnetic Levitation Express
Electromagnet, propulsion magnets and levitation magnets are used to create propulsion.
These scientifically placed magnetic strips are built in to the side of the included guide-way to allow the Magnetic Levitation Express to hover securely and run smoothly at high speeds.
After building the 10.87" x 1.44" x 1.17" train kit and 29" x 17.72" x 1.34" rail kit, the user can learn the basic principles of how magnets attract and repel each other.
An ideal project for a DIY science fair, after-school or summer workshop project with the bonus gift of learning electro-magnetic theory.
